Brattleboro Arts Initiative invites you to play in our Third Annual Spell Check! A Spelling Bee for Grown-Ups.
This exciting event pits spellers against each other, the countdown jingle, Judge Archer Mayor’s bicycle horn, Beekeeper Jim Maxwell’s pronouncements and Master of Ceremonies Tom Bodett’s hilarious tapestry of words, stories and running jokes. Yes, they’ll all be back on the main stage of the glorious Latchis Theatre.
Go, Team!
Teams are comprised of three (3) people. We are looking for 18 teams.
Here’s what it takes to play.
The registration fee for each team is $100. In addition, we ask that each team get itself sponsored for at least $100. So, if you chip in $33.33 each, we’ll hold your spot! If you ask your friends, relatives, boss, neighbors, corporate president, doctor, lawyer or co-workers to chip in toward the sponsorship, you’re in! Of course, if you want to self-sponsor for $200, that would be mighty fine with us, too. Additional sponsorship donations are welcome. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
